MTI Plastic Component Injection Molds Quality is Paramount

Mold Threads offers unsurpassed integrity and consistency in precision molded plastic components. We achieve 100% product accuracy by taking time at the start of every project to carefully examine all critical mold design aspects. We firmly believe that the quality of the tool and mold is paramount and it shows in our successes.

All of our processes are done on-site so that we can control every aspect of production. This allows us to go from prototype to final mold for production runs quickly and economically.

At MTI, it is not enough to meet all industry standards for statistical sampling techniques. When it comes to quality control and precision measuring, we have our own Goals and Standards:

MTI Plastic Component Injection Molds
  • Zero customer rejection rate
  • Minimum waste
  • Reduction of cost through quality improvement
MTI is ISO 9001:2000 certification pending
MTI is a member of:
  • National Tooling & Machining Association (NTMA)
  • CT Plastic Council
  • Professionally accredited by Society of Plastic Engineers
(SPE) and Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME)

  Inspection Programs

Given the highly specialized nature of many of the parts that we develop, Mold Threads has the ability to tailor programs to meet your specific quality requirements. Our team will work with your designers and engineers to establish parameters for critical dimensions, tolerances and parting lines. Customized quality control programs can include product testing and verification, inspection reports, and quality assurance.

Minimizing Development Costs and Time

Plastic parts developed by Mold Threads meet all design, function and quality specifications right from the start. Because molds are precisely engineered from the outset, we save our customers money by minimizing development time and costs.

Our modern 10,000 sq. foot facility is specifically designed for efficiency and speed, and to handle a range of injection molding projects. Mold Threads' Technical Projects Manager guides each plastic part application from development through production, resulting in seamless project management. Moreover, our size and approach make us highly responsive to identifying areas for component part improvement, design changes, and market conditions.
