We are a small shop doing work that most shops turn down. That only works with people who can think creatively and run with minimal supervision.
The position
Moldmakers and toolmakers, with 5 to 10 years of experience in CNC milling and EDM.
We build injection molds in fully hardened tool steel, prehardened steel and aircraft quality aluminum, holding tooling tolerances to .0001 inch. The work includes threaded mold cavities, crisp parting lines and fine component detailing - the parts of the trade that do not automate.
What we are actually looking for
Someone who can think creatively and work with minimum supervision. Our customers send us the parts other molders could not produce, which means the answer is rarely written down anywhere. If you like being handed a problem rather than a work order, this is the right shop.
