What we do
Knowledge is the product. The parts are just proof.
Most molders quote the print. We read the print and tell you what is going to go wrong before you cut steel.
Mold Threads combines steel and aluminum mold construction with plastic injection molding under one roof, so a design problem found on Tuesday is a corrected tool on Thursday. Our division managers each carry over thirty years in molded plastics. That depth is why demanding OEMs send us the parts their previous molder could not hold.
We develop timely, budget-sensitive solutions for injection molded parts, enclosures, connectors, externally threaded parts and prototypes. Our reputation is built on meeting your specifications right from the very start.

Specialties
Capabilities you will not find elsewhere
Four areas where our in-house skills and equipment separate us from a general-purpose molding shop.
01
Externally threaded parts
Our roots. We adjust for plastic shrinkage so threads align flawlessly and your part meets industry standards - plus threaded mold cavities cut in-house.
Threaded parts02
Enclosures & connectors
Parts that join with no flash, no burrs and no mismatch, for sensitive applications where there is no margin for leakage or flow interruption.
Enclosures03
Small & complex parts
Intricate components weighing a fraction of a gram, holding tolerance shot after shot - in medical devices, environmental products and telecom equipment.
Small parts04
Mold transfer & re-engineering
Send us the tool that never ran right. We re-engineer for changes in application, tolerance or resin, and bring it up to accuracy and function standards.

When they said it could not be done
Three parts other molders turned down or could not hold. Here is what we changed.
Medical
A .004" orifice in a part smaller than a dime
454 Life Sciences needed a DNA mixing tee weighing .2 grams with a hair-width injector orifice. The previous molder failed at .010". We held it on the first automatic run.

30% out of the part cost, six molders later
Healy Systems consulted six molders on a hose breakaway valve before us. We re-engineered the design and changed the resin - imperceptible parting lines, no witness marks.

From machined and assembled to twist-and-snap
Solidification Products International was fabricating PVC by hand. We designed aluminum molds with interchangeable components and removed the machine screws entirely.
