Twenty years in one industry

Mold Threads has been involved with molded plastic parts for the liquid level industry for over twenty years. That experience led us to offer a selection of these parts as stock items at competitive prices to manufacturers in the sector.

The reasoning is straightforward. If a part is essentially standard across the industry, every manufacturer paying separately to tool it is money spent on the same geometry over and over. Buying it as a stock component removes the cost of multi-cavity production tooling from your program entirely.

What that means for a new program

If your assembly needs a float or a related sensing component that is close to something standard, tell us before you commit to a custom tool. There is a reasonable chance we already make it, and if we do not, we will be candid that a custom tool is the right answer.
